The server is set up to recognize a default home page or initial page for each subdirectory when no specific web page is specified in the URL.

All subdirectories must have an a home page or initial page called either index.htm or default.htm (or .asp).

Check the directory structure in the WebCMS to ensure that each subdirectory has a default page.
