Checkpoint 2.10 - Mobile-PDA

There are many different mobile devices in use and some of the older ones have limited processing and display options. Drop down menus depend on the capability the mobile device to be able to render and display this functinality. Users of older mobile devices that cannot do this are not able to correctly navigate a site that implements them.

Drop down navigation has not been used

Recommendation

Use a list of links in place of the items in the drop down menus and ensure, where possible, that the links appear on a single line.

View the page on a mobile device and verify that drop down menus are not uses.
