Space is a premium on mobile devices and excessively wide border widths on boxes and images reduce the space available for other content.

Border widths have been reduced

Recommendation

Pay attention to the border widths given to images. Consider not having borders on images as these contribute very little, however if they are required, ensure they are as narrow as possible.

All layout and styling must be controlled by CSS and not by HTML elements.

View the page in a mobile device and verify that border widths of any boxes and images are as narrow as possible.
