Colours are useful presenting information to the users on a screen, however where colour is used exclusively to convey information to the user, this information is unavailable to users who are not able to see or distinguish differences between colour.
Requirement
Information is not provided via colour alone
Recommendation
If there is no provision for viewing the screen in greyscale, then print the screen out on a black-and-white printer and review content for any information conveyed exclusively by colour. Review any legends and grading criteria used on the page.

Review the text and other components on a screen to verify that information is not presented exclusively using colour.
