Metadata contributes to allowing online documents to be discovered by search engines and assists in the cataloging and management of documents. Both MS Word and PDF documents have the facility of storing metadata about the documents within the document itself.
Requirement
All MS Word and PDF documents must contain metadata within the documents themselves.
Recommendation
Check that the source MS Word or other documents contain the required metadata before creating PDF documents from them. Verify that metadata is in the newly-created PDF.
