Font families and sizes need to be carefully chosen to allow adequate readability of the web page content. Some fonts do not display well on a display screen, especially at different screen resolutions and where words are italicized. Font families and sizes also help provide a consistent branding and user experience.

Requirement

The default font family to be used for Departmental web sites is Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, Sans-serif.
