View the blog in text-only view by using a text browser rendering tool

WCAG Guideline 6. Ensure that pages featuring new technologies transform gracefully.

Reading accessibility of a blog by assistive technologies such as screen readers can be simulated visually by displaying the blog using a text-only rendering tool. This will show if the content is available in a logical order and that content in tables is understandable in its context.

Requirement

View the blog using a text-only rendering tool.

Checking Tool

  • Lynx Viewer using Delorie  (www.delorie.com/web/lynxview.html)
  • Internet Explorer - AIS toolbar: Tools > Other Tools > Lynx Viewer
  • Download and install the latest version of the Lynx browser  (www.delorie.com/web/lynxview.html)
