Checkpoint 1.9 - Blogs
Text should be chunked to facilitate reading by the user
WCAG 1.0 Priority 2
WCAG Guideline 12. Provide context and orientation information.
Due to the nature of blogs, textual content is often the main or sole information component of the blog entry. Additionally, as the blog is often a time-based running record of events, the style of writing can tend to be informal, which can lead to unstructured ideas being published.
The correct style of writing and presentation supports the information content of the blog.
It is therefore important that the document is not verbose and difficult to read through.
Text should be separated into paragraphs at logical points.
Limit the number of ideas to one per paragraph.
View the blog in a browser with a view to its overall ease of reading.
