Children’s Services Act 1996

Children’s Services Act 1996 since 25 May 2009.

Specifically, a child aged two years was able to leave the service without the knowledge of staff and unsupervised.||7 April 2011||Prosecuted under section 27(1) of the Children's Services Act 1996.||The licensee pleaded guilty to a breach of section 27(1). The court imposed a fine of $3,000 without conviction.|
The licensee has rectified the issues that contributed to the incident.
The service was inspected by authorised officers on 15 February 2011. It was found to be operating in substantial compliance with the Children's Services Act 1996 and the Children's Services Regulations 2009.
