The Special Education Scholarship – Hearing Impairment is available to qualified teachers who are working in, or considering working in, the specialty area of hearing impairment education.

The scholarship offers teachers up to $14,000 to help them advance their career in hearing impairment education. Up to 12 scholarships are available.

Recipients will complete an approved Masters program specialising in teaching methods for the hearing impaired and will also be encouraged to consider going on to teach in Victorian government schools.

The Special Education Scholarship – Hearing Impairment is part of the Smarter Schools National Partnership.
