Teach For Australia

Teach For Australia is a program designed to attract high achieving graduates who had not previously considered teaching as a career to work in educationally disadvantaged secondary schools.

Information about the Teach for Australia program includes:

• Education – outlines the Postgraduate Diploma in Teaching that the Associates will undertake while participating in the program and explains the mentor training undertaken by the In-school Mentors
• Support for Associates – outlines the range of support that is available to Associates while participating in the program including access to In-school Mentors and Educational Advisers
• Benefits – outlines the advantages of participating in the program for Associates and schools
• Support for Schools – outlines the support available to participating schools
• Working at the school – outlines the conditions of employment at the school
• Selection Process – outlines the process for selecting Associates and schools to be a part of the program
