The Department offers professional development opportunities to early childhood professionals.

Professional development - Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework - professional development to support the understanding and implementation of the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework

Transition to School - Professional Development - training and documentation about writing and interpreting the Transition Statement.

Professional Development in Lieu of Minimum Training (Grandfathering) - approved professional development course in lieu of completing minimum training for eligible staff members and family day carers with substantial and current experience in children's services.

First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management - information on accredited anaphylaxis management training.  

Bastow Institute of Educational Leadership - Early Childhood Professionals - professional development programs for early childhood practitioners who work directly with children in early childhood settings.

Victorian Training Guarantee

The Victorian Training Guarantee makes vocational education and training more accessible to people who do not hold a post-school qualification, or who want to gain a higher level qualification than they already hold.
