Prep for Parents
Prep for Parents is an email subscription specifically for parents whose child started primary school this year.
Subscribers receive an email every Wednesday during school term. Our articles cover topics like what Preps learn at school, learning to read, understanding maths, the excitement of science, the importance of play, and learning to write. We also include links to further resources and online content to help you support your child's learning journey.

Online forum on reading
Do you have questions about reading with or to your child?
Our Prep for Parents online forum will focus on reading. We encourage all parents with children who started school this year to participate. There will be experts on standby to answer your questions and to provide practical tips and advice.
You don’t have to be a subscriber to our Prep for Parents email to join the discussion (but we’d love you to become one if you aren’t already) but you do need to have a facebook log on to join.
The forum will be held during Education Week on Thursday 24th May via the Prep for Parents facebook page over two sessions.
Session 1 will be between 11.00am to 12.00noon.
Session 2 will be between 8.30pm and 9.30pm.
