Register now for Kindergarten Parents’ Seminar

Starting school is a big step, but as every family knows, parents are their child’s first and most influential teachers.

Register now for your chance to attend Ready, Set, Go, a special presentation by two leading academics in the early childhood sector.

Brought to you by Kindergarten Parents Victoria in partnership with the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development, this one-day event will provide useful insights into your role in your child’s education, as well as helpful tips on smoothing your child’s transition to school.

The seminar will be held at Holmesglen Conference Centre in Chadstone on April 29.

Charles Sturt University associate professor Bob Perry will present Starting School With a Smile, a discussion based on his extensive research on the transition to school; the role of play in young children’s development; and the importance of mathematical education.

Monash University Faculty of Education course director Joce Nuttall will present Parents as Educators – an in-depth look at the role of parents in their child’s educational journey.
