Report Cards
Student report cards
Student report cards provide you with a clear picture of your child’s progress. They are used in all Victorian government schools to report student achievement in Prep to Year 10. The only exception to this is where schools offer programs for students with disabilities.
You will receive a report card twice a year and be invited to a parent-teacher interview to discuss your child's progress.
For more information on parent-teacher interviews, see: Staying Informed
Victorian Government School Performance Summary
You can also find out how your child’s school is performing through the Victorian Government School Performance Summary.
Each performance summary provides the overall results of students and how the school compares with other Victorian government schools, taking into account its student intake.
Each school also provides a ‘What Our School Is Doing’ statement, which outlines the school's achievements and future plans and puts the data contained in each school’s performance summary into context.
All Government School Performance Summaries and School Annual Reports to the Community are available on the Victorian Registration and Qualifications Authority (VRQA) State Register website.
To find your Victorian Government School Performance Summary or the School Annual Report to the Community, see: VRQA State Register and enter your school name in the search.
