There are a number of awards on offer for students each year including:

Cultural Diversity Quest

The Quest is a key element of Cultural Diversity Week and is designed to help raise young people's awareness of Victoria's cultural and linguistic diversity.

The Quest invites Victorian students, teachers and schools to submit an entry about their experience of cultural diversity.

Premiers' Reading Challenge

The Premiers' Reading Challenge promotes the importance of reading among students in Victorian schools.

It also encourages parents and families to support their children’s reading in and beyond school.

Premiers VCE Awards

Each year students who have demonstrated outstanding achievement in the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) are recognised at the Premier’s VCE Awards.

The Victorian Schools’ Garden Awards

These Awards encourage school communities to utilise their gardens and grounds effectively. The Awards provide a great opportunity for students to explore fresh ideas in the face of water scarcity and climate change.

Victorian Sports Awards

These Awards recognise excellence across all categories of major school sports. They are given to students, teams, coaches and volunteers, from Victorian government schools, who have excelled or made an outstanding contribution to school sport.

VCE Season of Excellence

The VCE Season of Excellence presents works created by Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) students in design, technology, multimedia and the cinematic, visual and performing arts through exhibitions, screenings and performances. Catalogues, programs and online material support these exhibitions.
