Curriculum
Government schools are definitely not part of a one-size-fits-all system. There are small and large schools, special schools for children with disabilities, and schools to teach English to students recently arrived in Australia.
These schools are supported by a system that sets statewide standards in education. At the same time, schools are flexible in tailoring programs to meet the needs of students and the local community.
