The Blueprint provides the framework for an effective Victorian government school system - a system with effective teachers, effective leaders and effective schools.
Message from the Minister for Education and Training
The best gift our community can give a child is an excellent education.
Education is the Government's number one priority. We have backed this commitment through investing significant additional resources into education and training in Victoria and introducing new and innovative programs and reforms to the education and training system.
This Ministerial Statement, Blueprint for Government Schools, outlines a strategic vision that builds on our successes but also takes our education and training system to a new level - one that is totally focused on improving outcomes for all students.
Specifically, the Blueprint outlines seven flagship strategies and incorporates a range of initiatives under three important themes of recognising and responding to diverse students needs, building the skills that we need in our education workforce and engendering a culture of continuous improvement in our schools.
