Each year, every prep student at a Victorian government school receives a library bag with useful tips to help them start their time at primary school, as well as useful information and advice for parents.
This year’s library bag contains useful information about starting school including a range of initiatives and programs to support parents; storybooks and activities for preps as well as a welcome message from the Deputy Premier. We encourage you to distribute these bags to your prep students in time for the first day of school in Term 1.
Schools are set to receive their prep bags between 23-25 January 2017.
If you do not receive your Prep Library Bags before 30 January, please contact your local post office. Australia Post will hold your delivery for 10 days before they are returned to the mail house.
Prep bags were allocated based on projected enrolment data provided by schools in August 2016.
Following final enrolment numbers provided by CASES21 after the start of Term 1, any school requiring additional bags will automatically receive another quota between March and April to ensure every student receives a bag.
