With over 580,000 students in more than 1,520 government schools, Victoria has a strong and vibrant education system that celebrates diversity, and is committed to supporting the achievement and participation of all students.
The Department is committed to delivering an inclusive education system that ensures all students have access to a quality education that meets their diverse needs.
The Department provides a range of policies, programs and resources for schools to support the delivery of high-quality schooling for all students, including students with disabilities. These resources may be provided in the Student Resource Package, through student support services including psychologists, social workers, youth workers, speech pathologists and visiting teachers or through specific early identification and intervention programs. The Program for Students with Disabilities is one such form of provision available to schools.

The Victorian Government has outlined its vision for inclusive school education in the Education State, with the publication of the Program for Students with Disabilities Review (the Review) and the Government's Response, Inclusive education for all students with disabilities and additional needs.

Students turning 19 or older and completing a senior secondary course in 2017
For students supported by the PSD who are turning 19 or older and completing a senior secondary course in 2017, schools are referred to the guidance and form below:
For students eligible for the PSD and turning 19 or older in 2017, documentation must be submitted by 28 February 2017.
Based on the specific requirements for students turning 20 or older in 2017, documentation should be submitted by 18 November 2016.
