STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) is everywhere! There are a multitude of opportunities for you to join in activities, competitions and events to inspire and enhance your interest in STEM.

F1 in Schools™ Technology Challenge

The Challenge is run by the Re-Engineering Australia Foundation (REA). It focusses on developing the creativity and innovation of Years 5–12 students by developing a model Formula 1™ racing car.

The Australian STEM Video Challenge represents a great opportunity for upper primary and secondary students to learn about science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) in a fun and challenging way.

Victorian Maths Challenge

Explore and solve maths challenges with family and friends. Amongst many activities, young children can collect, count and sort objects from the garden, balance on a see-saw and find patterns in the world around us. School-aged children can create the ultimate paper plane, float a better boat, strategise, optimise and post videos, pictures or stories.
