Banyule Nillumbik Tech School and Whittlesea Tech School
Event details
Description
Invite only.
Students from Banyule Nillumbik Tech and Whittlesea will learn about projection, create art technology and demonstrate scientific concepts relating to projection.
They will create projection art that will be show cased at the opening of the Tech School and to demonstrate STEAM-focused engagement in learning that combines scientific and creative exploration.
Students will bring a USB drive with a range of photographs of iconic images from their local area and things that are special to the student.
Students will then take a range of wide shots of community aspects, such as a street view or a footy pitch or the local bus stop, and some close range personal shots they identify with, such as a pet, bike or iPhone.
Working with Mentors from ACMI, students will design and create projection art that reflects local environment, social and political aspects to be showcased at the Tech School's opening event.
