Herald Sun Advertising - Helping your Child to Shine
A happy, positive start to school – 18 November 2009
Moving from kindergarten to school is an important step in a child's life.
To help with this transition, all children leaving a four-year-old kindergarten program at the end of 2009 will receive a Transition Learning and Development Statement.
The statement will be prepared by kindergarten and early childhood professionals and will be given to the child's parents and Prep teacher.
Information provided in the statement will help schools prepare for the individual learning needs of a student and ensure that their transition to school is a smooth and enjoyable experience.
