After almost 30 years of publication, the Department’s flagship newspaper Education Times sent its last edition to press in December 2008. The tabloid newspaper has since been replaced by the colourful monthly magazine Shine.
Shine is a new and improved version of Education Times, with in-depth feature pieces on topical issues, practical tips and advice, regular columns from experts and up-to-the-minute research. It’s distribution has now been expanded to include kindergartens, childcare centres and maternal and child health centres.
