Schools can now register to participate in the 2015 National Day of Action against Bullying and Violence held on Friday 20 March.
Schools can register to receive official information and resources to help plan anti-bullying activities, as well as colourful ‘Bullying. No Way!’ wristbands for students.
Students and school communities are encouraged to ‘take a stand together’ to send a message that bullying and violence in or outside the classroom is not okay.
Students in Years 4-6 can participate in a virtual classroom about 'Communicating Online' which will be held at 9.45am – 10.45am on Friday 20 March 2015.
The presentation is a partnership between the Department and the Cybersmart Team at the Australian Communications and Media Authority and will be hosted in the Department’s Virtual Conference Centre.
The Bullying. No Way! website provides a range of information and resources for the day including lesson plans, promotional materials and suggested class activities.
