Minister for Higher Education and Skills and Minister responsible for the Teaching Profession

The Member for Gippsland Province (now Eastern Victorian Region) since 1988, Peter was born in Castlemaine and educated locally, attending the Castlemaine High School.

The Hon. Martin Dixon MP

The Hon. Martin Dixon MP

Minister for Education.

Martin Dixon was elected to the Victorian Parliament as the Member for Dromana in 1996 and re-elected in 1999. Following a redistribution which abolished the Dromana electorate, he was elected the first Member for Nepean in November 2002 and re-elected in 2006 and 2010.

The Hon. Wendy Lovell MLC

The Hon. Wendy Lovell MLC

Minister for Children and Early Childhood Development and Minister for Housing

Wendy Lovell was elected to the Legislative Council as a Member for North East Province in 2002. Following the reform of the upper house and the creation of new seats, she contested and won the seat of Northern Victoria Region in November 2006.
