mecu Outstanding Business Manager Award
The mecu Outstanding Business Manager Award acknowledges excellence in business management practice within Victorian government schools, and promotes the reputation of Victorian school business managers at a national level.
The award raises awareness that professional learning can improve the quality of knowledge, skills and school management practices of business managers. It is awarded to promote research into effective school management and to disseminate the findings across the Victorian government school system.
The mecu Outstanding Business Manager Award aims to recognise and develop the talent of business managers who have demonstrated excellent management of support functions within a school or across a group of schools.
The recipient is expected to share the outcomes of their professional learning within their school community and with other school communities in Victoria.
Award details
- The opportunity for the recipient to undertake professional learning to enhance their professional practice
- $10,000 to be used to cover course costs, travel, accommodation and leave to participate in the professional learning program
- One year’s free membership with the Association of Business Managers in Victorian state schools.
