Submissions for participants in the Victorian State School Spectacular 2010 are now open for both individual students and school groups.

JOINING the CHORUS

All Victorian government school students with a passion for the performing arts are eligible to be involved in JOINING the CHORUS events. 

Aside from the spectacular, JOINING the CHORUS is responsible for the following performance ensembles:

  • The VSS Dancers, with junior and senior dance ensembles in Geelong, Melbourne and Warragul.
  • The VSS Stage Band
  • The VSS Choir, a Melbourne based choral ensemble.
  • The VSS Solo Vocal Ensemble

The ensembles rehearse weekly during the school term and receive expert performance tuition.

Performances by these ensembles have ranged from large government and corporate events, to outdoor festivals.
