Rubbish Free Lunch Challenge

Participate in the  Rubbish Free Lunch Challenge by showing how you reduce, reuse and recycle the lunch rubbish at your school!


The Rubbish Free Lunch Challenge is entering an exciting new phase.

In 2009 management of the program - which has for the past 11 years been the overseen by the Department - will be transferred to Sustainability Victoria as part of its ResourceSmart Schools Program.

The details explaining how your school can be involved in the 2009 event will be available soon on the ResourceSmart website.

2008 Winners and Runners-up

The Hon Bronwyn Pike, Minister for Education, presented the 2008 awards at a special ceremony on Thursday, 16 October at the Melbourne Zoo.
