Past winners of the Quest

The Cultural Diversity Quest is a key element of Cultural Diversity Week and is designed to help raise young people's awareness of Victoria's cultural and linguistic diversity.

The Quest invites all Victorian students, teachers and schools to submit an entry about their experience of cultural diversity in one or more of the Award Categories.

Below are a few examples of winning entries in the Cultural Diversity Quest in 2009.

Footscray City College – Oral History Project
Students from Footscray Secondary College produced a multicultural calendar as part of their work with the Immigration Museum.

Malvern Primary School – Preps visit the World
A booklet made by the Prep grade at Malvern primary School describing their learning about cultural diversity.

Our Lady of the Sacred Heart College, Bentleigh – International Year of Languages Banner project
This quilt was produced by a Year 7 class and illustrates the student’s understandings about cultural and linguistic diversity in their school and community.
