Early childhood

The Premiers' Reading Challenge encourages children to read a set number of books and record their efforts online. The early childhood category covers children from birth to the year prior to school.

The 2017 Challenge is here, closing date 8 September 2017.

How do I register?

There are two ways to participate in the Early Childhood Premiers' Reading Challenge:

Early Childhood Services

Early Childhood services can register children at their centre. For more information, see:

Parents can register their child online. For more information, see:

You do not need to record book titles online. Please keep a record of books read, and one month before the challenge ends you will receive an email asking you to login and tick a box to verify 40 books have been read.
