Have your say on the Early Years Learning Framework
Consultation on the Early Years Learning Framework is now happening around Australia. This is a follow up to the consultations which took place throughout August and September on the National Quality Framework for Early Childhood Education and Care.
The National Draft Early Years Learning Framework (PDF - 209Kb) has been developed by the Charles Sturt University consortium.
Simultaneously, the Victorian Government is also developing its own Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework for children from birth to 8 years. It will draw upon the work occurring nationally to develop the Early Years Learning Framework.
By attending one of these sessions you will be able to comment on the development of the National and the Victorian Frameworks.
Anyone with a personal or professional interest in early childhood development is encouraged to attend, forum times have been structured to be accessible for professionals working in the sector, as well as parents. Two sessions are occurring at each location, the first will run from 3.30pm – 5.30pm and the second from 6.30pm – 8.30pm. Consultations are taking place in:
