Family fun day and launch of Children365

As Children's Week celebrations draw to a close, a new initiative—Children365: celebrate them every day—will be launched at a family fun day on Sunday 1 November 2009.

The concept for Children365 was developed after the tragic death of Darcey Freeman.

The Victorian State Government is proud to partner this initiative of The Alannah and Madeline Foundation by hosting a family fun day to launch the beginning of Children365.

Join Giaan Rooney and Robert “Dipper” DiPierdomenico at Melbourne Museum and take part in the free activities on offer throughout the day, including kite and sock puppet making workshops, Go for your Life activities, appearances by children’s book authors Felice Arena, Sally Rippin and Andy Griffiths, arts and crafts and much more!
