With more than 150 free events taking place across Victoria there’s something to entertain children of all ages during Children’s Week from the 24 October to the 1 November.
On Sunday 25 October the Melbourne Zoo Family Fun Day and Children’s Week Launch will kick off the week. Children’s Week concludes with Children365 on Sunday November 1.
Throughout the week a wide variety of fun and free activities and events will be available. In Melbourne city, children 5 and under can enjoy Romp and Stomp at the Melbourne Museum, while school-aged children can learn the true story of Melbourne and Federation Square on a Fed Square Safari with Richard Richards and his giraffe Gerard.
A children’s fun day at Waterworld will entertain the kids in Geelong and the CSIRO Starlab is great way to teach school groups in Echuca about astronomy. Picnics in the park, family fun days and open days are being held all over the State.
