    Event Details

    Description

    This event will provide a safe and engaging setting for children and their families. It will provide an opportunity for them to connect with, learn from and gain information from a variety of services that can assist in important aspects of early years development. The day will feature activities that will be set up in such a way that children can interact and learn in a positive environment.

    Other partners and contributors expected to attend and provide information/activity stations include:
    • East Wimmera Health Service – Allied Health services
    • Northern Grampians Shire - Introduction of the Healthy Stamp Passport, an initiative that will introduce Council's new Municipal Public Health and Wellbeing Plan, promoting the 4 health priority areas of the plan (will include an activity for each priority).
    • Playgroup Victoria - Pop-Up Playgroup Van for children (main focus age 0 - 5yrs but interactive for all)
    • Wimmera Regional Sports Assembly - team sports style activities (main focus age 5 - 12yrs but interactive for all)
    • Wimmera Regional Library - Rolling story time
    • Grampians Central West Waste and Resource Recovery Group - Little Green Wagon; interactive recycle/waste educational program and activities
    • Maternal and Child Health Nurses
    • Noah's Ark
    • Face painting
    • Water as first choice of drink activity - free refill bottle to take home
