Vision and Mission

This corporate plan sets out a vision and mission for the Department. In creating them, we have listened to our stakeholders and have taken into account the Government’s broad agenda and community expectations.

Our mission is to:

Ensure a high-quality and coherent birth-to-adulthood learning and development system to build the capability of every young Victorian.
