Victoria is at the forefront of educational facility development. The Building the Education Revolution (BER) program has given Victoria the opportunity to roll out brand new learning space designs across the state. Some of Melbourne’s leading architectural firms have collaborated in the development of over 30 learning space designs. These designs reflect the very latest in thinking in Australia and internationally and offer unprecedented flexibility, adaptability and support for Information and Communication Technology (ICT). The learning spaces feature environmentally sustainable design (ESD) and a myriad of other design elements that push school design above and beyond the traditional closed classroom approach. Hear what the architects from Gray Puksand and Hayball have to say about their experience with the BER design process and see what the new learning spaces will look like with virtual fly-throughs of the facilities below. |
