Mordialloc College is receiving a science and language centre as part of the Building the Education Revolution (BER) program.
Assistant Principal, Marcelle van Maanen said "The school community reacted really excitedly to the news that we were getting such an expensive, beautiful, new, flexible building.
"A new science building like this will increase the engagement of students in science.
"The students are pretty interested in science but they want to see different and new and engaging things happening in science," Ms van Maanen said.
