Balert Boorron: The Victorian Plan for Aboriginal Children and Young People (2010-2020) - outlines the common aim of Victorian Aboriginal communities and the Victorian Government to ensure that Aboriginal children have the best start in life, are able to succeed in school, and grow into capable, active adults. It was developed as a response to the Victorian Indigenous Affairs Framework (VIAF) and the State of Victoria’s Children 2009. It was also developed as a companion document to Dardee Boorai: the Victorian Charter of Safety and Wellbeing for Aboriginal Children and Young People.
