Tenders and Procurement

The Department's tender and procurement procedures comply with the Victorian Government Purchasing Board (VGPB) procurement policies.

The VGPB publishes information for suppliers about government policies and advice on how to participate in government procurement.

The VGPB is established under the Financial Management Act 1994. The responsibility of the VGPB and its policies does not extend to construction and related matters, which fall under the Project Development and Construction Management Act (1994) (PD&CMA).

All of the Department's tenders are listed on the Victorian Government Tenders System

The department utilises whole of government contracts (where applicable) when purchasing related goods and services.
