Victorian Skills Commission

The Victorian Skills Commission (VSC) has been wound up.  You have been redirected to the website of the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development (DEECD).

The Victorian Government is implementing a new industry participation model to increase direct consultation with employers, industry associations and other government departments, and to support more direct relationships between enterprises and training providers. As part of the new model, the VSC ceased operation on the 31 December 2012.  Further details of the new arrangements are available at: Refocusing Vocational Training in Victoria.

VSC apprenticeship and traineeship regulation functions were transferred to the Victorian Registration and Qualifications Authority (VRQA).  Other VSC functions were transferred to DEECD from 1 January 2013.

Contact details for various further education and training services, including qualifications replacements, are available, see: Contact List
