About the Region
The South-Eastern Victoria Region works with schools, communities and other organisations to ensure learners have the best possible educational outcomes.
The South-Eastern Victoria Region includes the former Southern Metropolitan and Gippsland regions. The region includes the local government areas of Bayside, Cardinia, Casey, Frankston, Glen Eira, Greater Dandenong, Kingston, Mornington Peninsula, Port Phillip and Stonnington in the southern suburbs of Melbourne and the non-metropolitan local government areas of Bass Coast, Baw Baw, East Gippsland, Latrobe, South Gippsland, Wellington, Mount Baw Baw Alpine Resort, French Island and Bass Strait Islands.
South-Eastern Victoria Region provides educational services to children and young people through funded early childhood services, schools, Vocational Education and Training providers and Learn Local organisations.
Regional staff support learners and their families and service providers across the region. Regional offices are based in Dandenong and Moe, with sub-regional offices located in Bairnsdale, Sale, Leongatha and Warragul.
